Today I went to Henderson Park Golf Course to play 9 holes. This is a small ‘pitch and putt’ course right around the corner from UVIC. It only costs $5 to play and takes about an hour if you play quick and don’t have a slow group in front of you. On the score card you can see the yardages for each hole. Because the shortest hole is 61 yards and the longest is 90 yards, you only need to bring a sand or pitching wedge and a putter. This is a very family friendly golf course and is playable with any skill level.
My goal for the day was to shoot no more than 2 over par on any of the holes. As you can see I completed that goal. My other goal was to make at least 4 pars. Unfortunately I did not complete that goal. As I rolled up to the parking lot of the golf course I realized I had forgotten my putter. I’m not one to make excuses but I’d like blame my poor putting on using a pitching wedge. It will make me feel bette, at the very least.

My next trip I will try to remember my putter!
